Destruction Print
Destruction was the only painting in the Sons & Daughters that showed hard emotions. I wanted to showcase raw emotions that are on opposite spectrums, often a nod to Bipolar Disorder but centering it on the theme of parenthood. For Destruction (Magenta): When i think about what it was like knowing I was going to be “alone” in trying to understand that I couldn’t have kids, I just remember seeing a large crying face, almost kid like.
